FAQ

Questions, answered

I've never used a kettlebell. Can I join?

Yes. Most people who walk through our door are new to kettlebells. Stephen teaches every move from scratch and picks a safe starting weight with you, so you can join any class from day one.

Do I need to be fit before I start?

No. That's what the classes are for. Every exercise can be scaled up or down, so you work at the right level for you and build from there.

How many people are in a class?

Never more than 16. That's small enough for your coach to watch your form and adjust every move, and big enough for the energy to carry you through.

What should I wear and bring?

Comfortable gym kit and flat trainers, or train barefoot if you prefer. Bring a water bottle and a towel. We provide all the kettlebells.

How do I cancel a booking?

Cancel from your account at least 12 hours before the class. If you paid by card, you get a class credit to use on another session; if you were paying cash, there's nothing to pay. Cancel later than that, or don't turn up, and the class counts as used.

Can I book several classes at once?

Yes. On the timetable, tap “Book several classes”, pick as many as you like and book them together: one card payment, cash at each class, or free with Unlimited. If one fills up before you finish, we'll take it out and keep the rest.

Can I change my booking to another class?

Yes. Go to your account, tap Change on the booking and pick a new class. Your payment moves with you and we'll email you the new details. You can change a booking up to 12 hours before the class.

What happens if a class is full?

Join the waitlist. If a spot opens up, the first person on the list gets an email and has 2 hours to claim it before it goes to the next person.

How much does it cost?

£10 a class, or £80 a month for Unlimited, which lets you book as many classes as you like. No contracts and no joining fee.

Can I pay cash?

Yes, for single classes. Book online as normal, choose “Pay cash at the studio”, and pay Stephen before class. Your spot is held as soon as you book.

Can I cancel my membership?

Any time, from your account. There's no contract. Your Unlimited membership stops renewing and you can keep booking until the end of the month you've paid for.

I have an injury or health condition. Can I still train?

Usually, yes. Add it to your profile when you sign up and mention it to Stephen before class so he can adapt your session. If you're unsure, check with your GP or physio first.
